Webflow is one of the most popular platforms for marketing sites, which means there are many ways to hire for it. Here are the typical costs for each option and what you get for the money.

Freelance Webflow developers

Freelance Webflow developers typically charge $40 to $150 an hour depending on experience and location. A simple marketing site built from finished designs might take 30 to 80 hours. Freelancers are great for well-defined builds, but availability after launch can be unpredictable.

Webflow agencies

Agencies usually quote per project. A custom-designed marketing site commonly lands between $10,000 and $50,000, with larger sites and complex CMS setups going higher. You get a full team, but changes after sign-off are often billed separately.

In-house Webflow developers

A full-time Webflow developer in the US often earns $80,000 to $130,000 a year before benefits. It makes sense when you have constant Webflow work, but you’ll still need a designer.

Webflow development subscriptions

Subscriptions charge a flat monthly fee for a queue of Webflow tasks, typically $2,000 to $5,000 a month. Reworq includes Webflow design and development, plus Framer and React, for $2,499 a month with one active task at a time.

Which option should you choose?

A quick rule of thumb:

  • One small build from finished designs: a freelancer
  • A large, fixed-scope launch with a long sign-off process: an agency
  • Constant Webflow work for years: an in-house hire
  • Ongoing design and Webflow work with changing priorities: a subscription
